DOUBTINGTHOMAS – AVEC PARCIMONIE
After a very succesful release with Rhythm and soul, Organic Music gives us a collaboration with DoubtingThomas. Familiar with the imprint from a previous release in it, he comes back with Avec Parcimonie which includes four productions – one of them as a bonus track only in digital.
The EP starts with Apikoros and a melancholic atmosphere in which the piano and violin sounds are very distinguishing. The combination of funky percussion instruments and the very unique beat will definitely win the ears of those hardest to satisfy.
Right afterwards we have a remix by the newcomer Ben Verden. A more dance version that doesn’t cease to keep and highlight the essence and character of the original track.
Then, Mr AAFR is by far the tune which stands out in this EP. Its dark atmosphere, aggressive beat, embedded psychedelic sounds and vocals paired with piano, it renders a feel of mystery.
Finally, dreamy bonus track Dificil Mezcla is a low tempo tune, resting where Dj tools and electronica abut.

Η Organic-Music μετά από μια πολύ επιτυχημένη κυκλοφορία με τον Rhythm&Soul, συνεργάζεται με τον DoubtingThomas. Γνώριμος στην εταιρεία από παλαιότερη κυκλοφορία του σε αυτή, επιστρέφει με το Avec Parcimonie το οποίο περιέχει τέσσερις παραγωγές - η μία ως bonus track μόνο στη digital μορφή του EP.
Το Apikoros είναι η πρώτη παραγωγή, με μια μελαγχολική ατμόσφαιρα και το πιάνο και το βιολί να ξεχωρίζουν. Τα funky κρουστά που συνοδεύουν, σε συνδυασμό με τη μπότα που έχει ένα ιδιαίτερο ρυθμό, κάνουν το κομμάτι να σε κερδίζει όσο το ακούς όλο και περισσότερο.
Ακολουθεί ένα remix από έναν νέο παραγωγό, τον Ben Vedren. Μια πιο χορευτική εκδοχή η οποία ωστόσο δεν χάνει την ουσία και το χαρακτήρα του original.
Το τρίτο κομμάτι, το Mr AAFR, ξεχωρίζει απ’όλο το release για τη σκοτεινή του ατμόσφαιρα, την πιο επιθετική του μπότα, τους ψυχεδελικούς του ήχους και τα φωνητικά που σε συνδυασμό με το πιάνο δίνουν στον ήχο ένα feeling μυστηρίου.
Τέλος, το bonus Dificil Mezcla είναι ένα κομμάτι με πολύ χαμηλό tempo, κάτι ανάμεσα σε Dj tools και electronica, σε ταξιδεύει και σε ηρεμεί.
