Ructions
After outstanding live sets at Awakenings, Loveland Live at Sonar and Movement Detroit, Matador’s summer season is off to a flying start. Topping this momentum could be hard, but it’s not just the live arena where Dublin’s techno powerhouse is excelling. With his debut artist album Ructions bedding into the playlists of electronic music fans worldwide, he’s now brought together probably the most exciting array of fellow artists to deliver their interpretations of his milestone work.
Following the Beatport chart topping remixes of The Enemy from Hot Since 82 and Julien Jeweil, there’s no loss of pace as Matador’s label Rukus unleashes the first set of remixes of his album tracks. This carefully curated package is a dynamic exploration of sound on the global stage and celebrates the craft of some of today’s best music producers. And this is just the first of three collections to come…
