Today see's the release of Beacon One, the debut EP from Norwegian duo Atella. Having released a series of acclaimed singles over the past year or so Magnus and Johannes have truly spread their wings with this release and let their cosmic sci-fi fantasies take flight.

Featuring guest vocals from Norwegian megastar AURORA on the glacially ambient opening track ' Ascension', Londoner JVCE on the classic electro-funk of 'Nothing', and Katrine Stenbekk on the left field cosmic pop of 'Alive' and then closing out the EP with the glorious 11 minute long Blade Runner'esque closer 'Transition' it's clear to see why Atella have been tipped by the likes of DJ Mag, Mixmag and many more in recent months.

I've sent you the track 'Ascension' featuring AURORA as of the new tracks it's the most ambient and if you like it you should also definitely check 'Transition', meanwhile if you fancy something more pop do check out the others as 'Alive' and 'Nothing' are both great singles in their own right.
